acai bowls are like having ice cream with toppings for breakfast which makes it a perfect breakfast during the hot summer months. Today, I’m so proud of myself for making my acaifrom scratch. I didn’t purchase pre-made frozen acaipackets or cartons. Instead, I used an acaipowder from NavitasNaturals, blending in frozen bananas, blueberries, blackberries, almond milk, and some vanilla. Açaí powder is notably rich in dietary fiber, calcium, iron and vitamin E. Before making your acai, be sure to freeze your fruit, otherwise you will end up with juice. In fact, I stocked up on bags of frozen organic fruit so I can make acaibowls at any time of the day. I’m not a fan of the tiny seeds in blackberries, however using my powerful Ninja blender, I was able to get most of the seeds from the blackberries ground up. I suggest setting your blender on high if your like me, and don’t like getting seeds stuck in your teeth. My toppings of choice are always some great tasting granola, sliced bananas and strawberries, and unsweetened coconut flakes.
Blueberries are know for their anti-aging compounds and blackberries are not only an anti-inflammatory, but also support skin elasticity and brain health. Combined, these berries support both beauty and health. One of the healthiest and best tasting breakfasts that you can eat during the summer. This easy berry acaibowl is cold, tart, sweet and nutritious. A beautiful meal, on a beautiful day, for a beautiful you.
Can I convince you to try this easy berry acai bowl for breakfast before summer?
