When entertaining and for the holidays, I always serve a Charcuterie and Cheese Board. A large wood cutting board filled with gourmet treats is so simple to prepare and easy to shop for.
Everything on this board was purchased at Trader Joes. Picking out cheeses and meats to fill any kid of board can be intimidating. Although I’ve made loads of Charcuterie and Cheese Boards, I still feel a bit overwhelmed when shopping for the ingredients. What I’ve done for myself is put together an easy to follow shopping list, so I can recreate this stunning board over and over again.
To assemble, start by grabbing your largest cutting board, place 3 small bowls on the board for the dips and nuts, plus a glass for the Breadsticks. Now you can start building and filling up your board around the bowls and glass. Remove all packaging from your cheeses and lay all around the board. Next, place the meats in several areas of the board, then follow with the fruit, olives, and crackers ensuring most of the board is covered. Now you can fill your bowls and glass.
