Spring is here, so are many reasons to celebrate. Such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Graduations, Baby Showers, Weddings, and so on. All the reason to enjoy a fluted glass of fruited bubbly.
My stepdaughter graduation from Pepperdine today, and for her party, her sister and I set up this quick and easy Mimosa Bar. Our guests loved pouring their own champagne, adding some fresh fruit juice and topping off with pieces of fruit.
Setting up a Mimosa Bar doesn’t need to be complicated and can be as simple or extravagant as you want it to be. Mine was really simple and easy to set up. I purchased the sign and labels from Etsy. I’ve included my checklist to provide you with some ideas and assist you with setting up your Mimosa Bar.
Tips for setting up a Mimosa Bar:
- First pick your location. Your bar should be located where your guests walk in and notice it. Tables are great, but you can be creative and use a bar cart.
- Include a framed sign so guest know how to create their mimosas.
- Keep champagne close by and chilled.
- Provide a variety of fruit juices and pour in clear carafes, vases, or jars. Add some type of label for identifying the juice.
- Fill bowls with fresh fruit. Make sure large fruit, such as pineapple, is cut into smaller pieces. Fruit should be fresh and presentable. Frozen fruit is not suggested.
- Decorate your bar with some flowers.
