We entertain overnight guest quite often at our cabin in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Having a coffee and tea station allows guest to serve themselves when they wake up in the morning or help themselves to a hot cup of cocoa after skiing.
At night, I set up to coffee maker and have a rule that the first person up in the morning turns it on. I keep both a coffee maker and Keurig on the counter for guest who have a special type of coffee that they prefer, or for those who want a cup of coffee during the day when the maker isn’t on. A tea kettle is always kept stovetop.
A large serving tray is utilized to store coffee, tea bags, some biscotti, various sugars, and honey. I keep k-cup pods in one drawer and extra tea bags, coffee filters, and misc. items in another. Both drawers are located directly underneath the coffee and tea station for easy access. Coffee and tea mugs are located directly above. Everything is kept within the immediate location of the coffee and tea station.
